A philanthropy that is very important to me is Breast Cancer Awareness and Education. At this event we raised over $10,000 for the cause! With the Zeta Tau Alpha girls from UNC Charlotte and the great spirit of all the players, this was a very successful and FUN event! My favorite part of the day is the balloon release to start the tournament in honor of anyone who is fighting or who has fought the battle against breast cancer. Not only is Lauren Cardwell the sweetest little lady around, she's also an AMAZING photographer! I can't thank her enough for donating her time!!
